How to Roll a Dutch Master Blunt

Blunts are a great experience for smoking weed, and when you get to choose from a variety of blunt wraps, it makes it even better.  Since rolling a Dutch Master is slightly more tricky than rolling a normal blunt, many people stress over it. But don’t worry, we will teach you to Roll a Dutch Master Blunt like a PRO.

You don’t have to stress about rolling a Dutch Master. The rolling process is quite similar to the normal blunt, and you just have to make a few extra tweaks to roll a Dutch Master. But with some practice, you will be rolling a Dutch Master like a complete pro.

So, let's head further to talk all about Dutch Master Blunt and how you can roll it perfectly.

What is a Dutch Master Blunt?

Dutch Master Blunt takes its name from the Dutch Master Cigar, used as a blunt wrap. The Cigars have been around since 1912, offering high-quality cigars for a premium smoking experience. Each cigar is made from 100% natural, high-quality, hand-picked tobacco leaves.

You can find a variety of Dutch Master cigars with different flavors, offering a unique experience every time you get a different variety of dutch master. The rich aroma and taste of the natural tobacco leaf make the dutch master blunt so good. You can choose from popular favors like the Palma or the Honey Fusion Cigar.

The best part about a Dutch Master Blunt is the artwork required while rolling it(don’t worry, it isn’t hard to master), the different flavors, including the earthy flavor and aroma of the tobacco leaf, and the unique high you get with the nicotine and THC combined.

Materials to Roll a Dutch Master

So, let’s get down to the basics, what you will need to roll a Dutch Master Blunt. Don’t worry. You won’t have to go around the world to find fancy items. The materials are pretty simple, and you can just get them anywhere and roll a Dutch Master on the go.

Dutch Master Cigar

So, stating the obvious, you will need a Dutch Master Cigar to prepare a Dutch master blunt. You can easily find the cigar in any corner store. It is slightly pricier than other cigars but a must-try if you are yet to smoke one. Since they are slightly longer and burn slowly, the price will be worth it.

Grinder

Not many people realize the importance of properly grinding out their weed. Using scissors or breaking the bud with your hand is also fine if you don’t have a grinder but not recommended.

A grinder will ensure the grind stays uniform for a better and smoother burn. If you use a grinder, don’t grind the weed too fine, which might restrict proper airflow inside the blunt. If you don’t have a grinder, break it by hand or scissors. The primary issue while using your hands is that the grind won’t stay uniform which will likely cause your blunt not to burn properly.

Razor Blade

Since you have to slit the blunt to empty the cigar, you need a razor or sharp object to cut the wrap. Make sure you have a sharp object to slit smoothly through the cigar without creating any mess. A foldable knife is also a great option that you can carry anywhere.

Step-by-Step Guide to Roll a Dutch Master

  1. Grind your Cannabis

Let’s start by grinding up your cannabis. Breaking it up with your hands or scissors is fine, but getting your grinder to get things done is better.

With a grinder, you can uniformly grind the cannabis but make sure not to make it too fine. Grinding it uniformly will ensure you will have a nice, even burn on your blunt. At the same time, it’s better to have a slightly coarser grind for better airflow inside the joint, letting it burn properly.

Once you have your ground weed, you can start by preparing your dutch master paper, or you can even start grinding weed at step 3 by preparing the blunt wrap initially.

  1. Slit up your Dutch master

Now, slit up the dutch master blunt with a sharp razor like you would while preparing a normal blunt. (If you haven’t let prepared a normal blunt, let me show you how)

Take a sharp razor or a paper cutter and slit the dutch master vertically. But don’t go too deep, or you will slice the cigar in two perfect halves(which is pretty useless). Once you slit up your cigar, you will be greeted with tobacco, dump it out(or keep it to smoke a spliff later).

  1. Prep your Wrap

Now, you have an empty dutch master wrap. Let’s get it ready to be filled with cannabis. The dutch master blunt is quite stiff, making it harder for your to roll. To make it flexible, you can lick the blunt, which will seal up any cracks or holes in the blunt. Moistening the blunt will also help the cannabis stick better, making it easier for you to roll.

If you aren’t comfortable licking the wrap, you can use your fingers to wet the blunt or tap it with a damp paper towel.

After wetting the wrap, flatten it before you start loading it with cannabis.

  1. Load up your Cannabis

Now, take the ground weed and start spreading evenly throughout the blunt. Add in the amount of weed you wish to load(ideally, 1.5-2g would be perfect). But when adding the weed, ensure you don’t over or underfill the blunt.

Underfilling the blunt could make the blunt burn too fast or collapse midway through your smoke session. Overfilling it might restrict the airflow inside the blunt, making it keep going out. A perfectly filled blunt will burn properly and evenly, making for an enjoyable session.

  1. Roll and Seal it Up!

After adding the cannabis to the dutch master wrap, start folding and rolling the blunt by holding it between the index finger and thumb of both fingers.

Roll the wrap upwards to tuck the shorter side properly around the cannabis. After you have tucked in the dutch master wrap, press it gently to form an even cylindrical shape. After you have secured the cannabis, tightly roll the dutch master the whole way.

Once you have rolled all the way to the end, use your tongue to seal the blunt, using your saliva as an adhesive. Relick the dutch master blunt from the outside for a much better seal.

Now, gently run down the flame along the sealed part for a secure blunt. Applying heat to the blunt makes sure it seals it properly. Using a lighter might also risk burning the joint. Instead, you can also keep it under the scorching sun to do the trick.

  1. Smoke it and Enjoy!

Is it time to smoke the dutch master blunt? Yes, but pat your back first for rolling a Dutch Master Blunt(like a PRO). Now, you can light up your blunt and enjoy it.

While lighting it up, make sure you light it up properly to ensure it burns properly. Start by burning the tip of the blunt and take small puffs until it burns properly. (Don’t inhale the first few puffs). Now, after it starts burning nicely and evenly, you can now smoke it properly.

Are DutchMaster good Blunt Wraps?

If you are looking for a blunt wrap, Dutch Master Cigars are a great option that offers a unique smoking experience. The earthy flavor and slow burn from Dutch Masters are mostly why people prefer Dutch Masters.

Although the rolling can get tricky and tedious with the tobacco leaf, smoking a good Dutch Master Blunt will make it all worth it. Dutch masters are generally pricier than other blunt alternatives.
